A capable all-in-one that removes moderate swirls and 2000-grit sanding marks, then finishes cleanly enough to coat, as long as you use it on the pad it was designed for. Silicone-free, made in the USA, easy to wipe. It's small for the price and less aggressive than a dedicated compound, but as a single-bottle correction for a coating prep it delivers.
Adam's One Step Polish is built around a pad. The blended wool-and-microfiber One Step pad provides the cut; the polish provides the abrasives and the lubrication that let that aggressive pad finish down instead of hazing. Used together on a DA, the system removes moderate swirls, oxidation and 2000-grit sanding scratches and leaves paint ready for protection in a single pass. Used on a plain foam pad, the polish is fine but unremarkable.
Correction and finish
On a medium-hard clear coat with the matching pad, it is a genuine one-step: swirls gone, gloss high, no visible haze. On very hard paint the cut runs out sooner than M105 and you'll want a proper compound for the worst panels. On soft paint the wool-blend pad can leave faint marring that a soft foam pad and a second pass of the same polish cleans up.
It's silicone-free and body-shop safe, so it doesn't leave the oily film glaze-type polishes do; a panel wipe and it's ready for Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating — which is precisely the workflow Adam's designed it for.
In use
The formula is thin and spreads a long way, which offsets the small 12-ounce bottle somewhat. It stays workable through a full section, doesn't dust much, and wipes off cleanly. Owners consistently praise the removal; it's one of the least sticky one-steps available.
